  • The new UWS Lanarkshire Campus development aligns with and underpins delivery of the University’s Corporate Strategy to 2020.

    It presents a transformational opportunity for UWS to develop a customized 21st Century learning environment that will make a hugely significant contribution to the Scottish HE landscape.

    The new campus secures the future of Higher Education in Lanarkshire, allowing the University to deliver an outstanding facility and HE experience.
    This is all about our students – delivering a Campus that will significantly enhance their educational journey through the delivery of personalised and transformational higher education with UWS.

    Professor Craig Mahoney, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of UWS said: “We will now move forward with creating one of the UK’s most environmentally friendly, dynamic and vibrant campuses.     Development of UWS’s state-of-the-art, modern university campus at Hamilton International Technology Park (HITP) is gathering pace with the steel framework for the “Learning Street” complete and internal fit-out ongoing.
