    Served by excellent bus and train services, Paisley is only 7 miles (12 km) west of Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, and just an hour away from Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh.

    Paisley campus is only 5 minutes walk from Paisley's Gilmour Street Train Station.

    Glasgow International Airport is on the outskirts of town.

    Glasgow Prestwick Airport is also easily accessible, being just over 30 minutes away by road or rail.

    Paisley is Scotland's largest town and is a lively place to be. Originally famous for its weaving and thread industries - most notable for the world-famous Paisley pattern - Paisley combines heritage and history with all the facilities you'd expect from Scotland's largest town.

    Paisley offers an array of cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs while activities such as golfing, cycling, ice-skating and swimming will appeal to active types.

    Explore cultural delights such as the Museum and Art Gallery, Arts Centre, the 12th century Abbey, and the largest Baptist Church in Europe, Thomas Coats Memorial Church.

    If it's retail therapy you're after, Paisley offers a wide range of shops in the town centre or, just a short 10 min trip into Glasgow - one of the UK's best shopping venues. Alternatively, there are two vast shopping malls closeby (Braehead and Silverburn); both within easy reach and just short car/bus journeys from the town centre.

    There is no student parking on campus during the day and students are advised to make use of public transport to the campus or to car-share as much as possible. Public car parks and on-street pay and display parking is available in the vicinity of the campus.
