The University prides itself on building strong partnerships with industry and commerce, education and with local communities.
In working with industry and commerce, our research and knowledge transfer partnerships ensure our research strengths and skills are shared with the wider world.
The partnerships we build with business and industry also help to create opportunities for our students to undertake paid placements - when students can spend up to a year in paid employment during their studies.
We have also formed many partnerships with schools, colleges and other universities all over the world. These educational partnerships help encourage the exchange of staff and students on schemes such as Erasmus and allow college students to progress to degree study directly after finishing their college study.
