Hamilton Campus
The Campus
Located in the heart of Lanarkshire, 11 miles South of Glasgow, the Hamilton campus offers a lively, safe and friendly atmosphere.
Student accommodation and Students’ Union are available on the Hamilton campus which also houses the Almada building and Caird building.
The main building, Almada, contains the library, sports and leisure centre, students’ union shop, refectory and café, and student services. The Caird building is home to the simulated wards and an additional refectory.
Hamilton offers a stimulating and supportive environment with excellent facilities and services to cater for the 4,500 students studying full and part-time at the campus.

Investing in your future
Work was completed on a new £2.1million Centre for Engineering Excellence in January 2008. In addition an investment of £75,000 has been made to refurbish the campus Sports & Leisure Centre which now offers students and members of the public use of the latest fitness and exercise equipment.
Students can now enjoy access to the internet via their own laptops or PCs via wireless hotspots in the library, student area on the ground floor of the Almada building and in the Halls of Residence.
For those without WiFi the upgrade of 7 computing suites throughout the Hamilton campus ensures students have access to the latest computing resources.
