Students' Union
It is important to keep a healthy balance between study and leisure and where better to socialise and unwind than in the new £5 million Students’ Union at Paisley Campus. Much more than a stunning piece of contemporary architecture, the Students’ Union houses a cyber café, coffee shop, main bar & games area, cafeteria and 450 capacity events area.
Library
Opened in 1998, the £6.8milion Robertson Trust Library and Learning Resource Centre on Paisley Campus provides excellent study resources for students. Housing close to 200,000 volumes, reference journals and comprehensive electronic study materials, the library has 950 reader spaces as well as a PC lab and interactive video players for language materials.
Student Accommodation
The University’s halls of residence and flats are located around town. All residences and flats are self-catering with cooking facilities provided for you to prepare your own food. In addition to laundry facilities available in some residences, there is a communal laundry on campus.
Computer facilities
With computing labs dotted around Paisley Campus, and workstations in the Library, Student Union and Internet Café, you’re never far from access to your email, the Internet and the most up-to-date software packages available. All students have free, unlimited access to their email and the internet and a partnership with Microsoft – the Microsoft Campus Agreement – allows our students access to the latest Microsoft products for use on personal computers, on or off campus.
Student Services
The campus offers a range of specialist support ranging from employment and careers advice to special needs and personal well being plus a funding and advice service. In addition the Robertson Trust Sports Centre provides year round sporting facilities.
