Employability Link Careers Service
The University’s careers advice service is free to graduates for 2 years after graduation. All of our services are on offer, from checking your CV to individual, face-to-face or telephone guidance interviews with our experienced careers advisers, as well as help in preparing for selection interviews. Graduates can also participate in our extensive careers seminar programme and attend on-campus graduate recruiter workshops. The careers service is part of the UWS Employability Link and further details are available at www.uws.ac.uk/employability
Our careers advisers work closely with academic staff, employers, professional organisations and employer bodies to provide up to date information on labour market information, graduate recruitment trends, and to equip students and graduates with the knowledge and skills required to help with career development and the job application process.
If you are an employer, why not consider becoming involved with our students and staff. We welcome practitioner input through guest seminars, case studies, projects and advice on curriculum content.
We are also keen to provide our students with real work experience so are always looking for placement and part time/summer work opportunities. If you would like to help our future graduates in any of these ways then please call 0141 848 3806 or visit www.uws.ac.uk/employability
