Location

The University has 4 campuses in Hamilton, Paisley, Ayr and Dumfries. The Hamilton Campus provides Lanarkshire with its first University and is set in the centre of town. Paisley campus is situated in the vibrant heart of Scotland's largest town and is only 7 miles west of Glasgow. Friendly and welcoming, Paisley is a student-centred town and caters for all student needs. In the beautiful seaside town of Ayr, our campus is set in 20 acres of parkland. The town is becoming increasingly student-focused, offering a wide variety of social and entertainment venues. The Dumfries Campus offers students a unique study experience at the newest university campus in Scotland.

Facilities

The University offers excellent student facilities. From our new internet cafe and student union to our well-equipped library and highly advanced computing labs, the University offers first-class student amenities and resources. Subject-specific facilities and equipment enable our students to develop their skills and gain practical experience to supplement their theoretical knowledge.

Social life

Having fun is part of student life and our Students' Association offers a range of clubs and societies. The new £5 milion Union on Paisley campus, a refurbished Students' Union in Hamilton and the lively union at Ayr Campus offer a varied entertainments schedule. Students in Dumfries benefit from the work of the campus students' association, who organise events and activities for all students on the shared campus site.
