About
Almost all subject areas taught in the University can be studied at one of our partners in Europe or the US meaning that the opportunity to study abroad is available to the majority of our students.
You can really benefit from studying abroad and lack of a foreign language need not be a barrier for European study. Many of our partners teach their classes in English - although the chance to learn a foreign language is valuable.
You can spend from 3 to 12 months studying abroad, which is normally taken in Year 3 of your degree. Postgraduate and research students can also apply to spend time abroad.
Accommodation is provided or will be arranged so there's no need to worry about where you'll stay during your time abroad.
Also, if you would like to go abroad but may be a bit wary of going it alone, why not organise to go with a class mate or friend who's also a student at the University.
Experiencing another culture and lifestyle will add to your maturity and your CV and provide you with a global aspect on study and work.
You'll develop more independence and confidence and improve your employability within an international job market.
