Spend your summer studying in Scotland and enjoy a worthwhile learning, social and cultural experience.
Since 2005 students from our European partner institutions have had the opportunity to study at our Paisley Campus over the summer. This year, the EU Summer School will run from 7th July – 15th August.
Who can apply? All EU students studying at a European partner institution. Students will be expected to have a good command of written and spoken English. The cost of the EU Summer School is £770.
Study Programme The study programme is scheduled for 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) giving you the opportunity to explore Scotland during your free time. Glasgow, host to the 2014 Commonwealth Games, is a short distance away.
Throughout the six week programme you will study two modules from a range of options in Business, Engineering, English Language, Social Sciences and Scotland’s History. Download Module Choice Form.Students can choose 2 modules, one from OPTION A and one from OPTION B.Option A:
Students can also enjoy a programme of activities such as a Whisky Distillery visit, sample some local fish and chips and an end of school Ceilidh. Paisley is an ideal base to explore the Highlands or visit Glasgow or Edinburgh.Providing you pass the module assessment - a combination of exams and coursework - you will normally gain 15 ECTS credits at the end of your study.

The University regrets that it cannot offer partial refunds for late arrival or early departure and in the event of cancellation of the EU Summer School travel bookings cannot be refunded.
