    • Designed for teachers and others working within the 3-18 sector and those who teach, or may wish to teach, art and design at other levels.
    • Available part-time and delivered through blended or distance learning
    • Run in partnership with Glasgow Museums and the National Society for Education in Art and Design (NSEAD)

  • Course Overview

    The MEd Artist Teacher degree is unique to Scotland in its on-line / blended learning modes of delivery and in its close partnerships with the NSEAD and Glasgow Museums.

    The course offers the chance for a sustained and serious re-evaluation of ones existing art practice within a critical and supportive environment.

    Note: there are three stages to the MEd Artist Teacher (180 credits) programme. However, you can exit earlier with Postgraduate Certificate Artist Teacher (60 credits) or Postgraduate Diploma Artist Teacher (120 credits).

    All Modules are at SCQF level 11 and are 20 credits each except Module 7 which is 60 credits.
