2nd Fungal Biofilms Meeting May 20th & 21st, 2013
  • Organised locally by Prof. Craig Williams of University of the West of Scotland's Institute of Healthcare Associated Infection and Dr Gordon Ramage of University of Glasgow the second meeting of ESCMID Study Group for Biofilms (ESGB), one of the study groups in the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), was held in the Trades Hall of Glasgow, Scotland, UK from Monday, May 20th to Tuesday, 21st of 2013.

    The conference was of interest to anyone involved in the care of individuals in health services susceptible to the affects of fungal biofilms. Participation in this conference helped delegates gain new insights into current research and good practice in addition to giving colleagues the benefit of their own experience.

    CPD was approved for this event from the Royal College of Pathologists. 

  • With emphasis on ESGB's main themes of Clinics & Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Antimicr. Resistance & Suscept.Testing, the conference will be of interest to anyone involved in the care of individuals in health services susceptible to the affects of fungal biofilms.
