Paul Lassalle obtained his MA diploma at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences Po) in 2006. His parallel MRes study at the Centre for Sociology of Organisations (CSO) concerned the hypermarkets sector in Poland with a particular focus on the work conditions and HR management in the context of Polish economic transition.

Currently, Paul is a research student in the Centre for Contemporary European Studies at the University of the West of Scotland Business School. He conducts research on Polish Entrepreneurs in Scotland, their experiences of starting-up and their business strategies.

Other academic interests: youth movements in Poland, labour market in post-communist countries.
