Theofilos Tzanidis obtained his MSc in International Marketing Degree at the University of West of Scotland in 2006. His Master dissertation had focused on consumer attitudes for Genetically Modified Food in the Scottish retail market. Currently, Theofilos is a Doctorate Researcher under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Ramos, working in the Enterprise, Marketing & Tourism Division of University of West of Scotland, Business School. He conducts University funded research in the area of retail marketing, focusing in modelling competition, between national and store brands, using quantitative techniques. Other academic interests: marketing forecasting, UK retail competition, UK characteristics of store brands /National brands - sales, promotions and market shares, the impact of market forces in the performance of store brands and national brands.
