Work Placement Opportunities
We provide organisations with a variety of opportunities to utilise the skills and knowledge of UWS Business School students and graduates. This forms a mutually beneficial relationship where the organisations gain a valuable resource while the students have the opportunity to apply their learning and boost their future employability.
Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a successful Government-funded scheme developed to enable UK businesses to benefit from the wide range of expertise available in the UK Knowledge Base – KTP involves the transfer of University knowledge to a commercial company via a Knowledge Transfer Associate – an individual who is usually at post-graduate level. Typically, organisations hire a high-achieving graduate for a 2-year period and benefit from regular consultancy support from a University academic. KTP has an excellent track record of realising business development in companies and increasing the profitability.
For more than 25 years UWS Business School has been placing students in a wide range of organisations, from small local enterprises to national and international corporations, as part of their studies.
