Seminars and Guest Speakers
PERC and SIE sponsor and run a range of conferences and seminars, some taking place locally in, others at a more national level. Students are also invited to participate in some international events. Enterprise week
During the 15th - 19th of November 2004, a national campaign pioneered by MP Gordon Brown took place. Enterprise week focused on raising awareness and celebrating enterprise amongst young people between the ages of 15 to 25 years. The campaign emphasized the inspiration and encouragement of tof enterprise skills and positive mental attitudes of young entrepreneurs. The SIE took an active role in encouraging and channeling the national activities across the higher education institutions to the student body.
