Research
The Centre for Academic and Professional Development initiates, participates and leads a growing range of projects and research activities in support of the enhancement of learning and teaching.
Currently staff are engaged in work in relation to:
- Curriculum design and assessment practice
- Embedding effective learning skills into the curriculum
- Learning technologies and eLearning
- Personal Development Planning and ePortfolios
- Classroom of the Future
In particular, the Centre promotes activities which underpin the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy and engages staff from across the University with various partners in Further & Higher Education across the Scotland and the UK .
