2010 Scottish Animation Awards: College Competition
Brief
Submit an animation
The animation must be submitted on a CD in a standard video format. It can be produced in 2D, 3D software or by stop motion animation.
Conditions
Individual or Group submissions.
All entries must be made through Colleges (no individual entries accepted).
We are happy to accept work coursework for college qualifications as well as any work specifically produced for the competition.
Categories
Overall winner and Gold, Silver and Bronze awards
Winning Animations Shown at Digital Futures (June 2010).
Awards will be presented at Digital Futures event (June 2010).
In addition there will be prizes of an animation book for the winner.
Submission
A CD with the animation in a standard video format (such as .avi or .mov) must be submitted, along with the entry form, by post to:

Deadline

Tutorials are available on these sites. Introductory tutorial will be provided here shortly.
Judging
All entries judged by Staff from the University and representatives of Scottish arts & animation industry. The animations submitted must be produced by secondary school students and submitted by a member of staff from the school. Work can be produced individually or in groups. The judges’ decision is final on all matters.
