Reflective Practice: Critical Self-evaluation and Development
Chartered Teacher Programme: Module 1, Self-Evaluation
This module is mandatory for everyone embarking on a Chartered Teacher route.
The module, which is made up of a number of small online tasks, selected reading and of course assessment, is delivered using an “integrated” delivery approach. That is to say the various (formative) activities/readings build into resources which learners are then able to build on/refer back to for their assignments and apply immediately to their classroom practice.

- Critically examine theory on reflective practice, evaluating the use of standards in professional development
- Through reflection, analyse and evaluate professional values, personal commitment and personal development
- Review, consolidate and extend educational skills, practices and thinking, to enhance classroom performance
