Sexual Orientation
The Employment Equality Regulations, (Sexual Orientation) 2003 prohibit direct, indirect discrimination and harassment on the grounds of sexual orientation in the fields of employment and vocational training. They also prohibit victimisation. Further legislation to expand protection to the provision of goods and services is currently underway.
LGBT Youth Scotland is running a series of free staff development training sessions across Scotland to raise awareness of LGBT equality in Further and Higher Education in Scotland. For more information please see LGBT Youth Scotland's website.
