Rooms have been reserved at the Purple Hotel on the outskirts of Paisley for the duration of the conference. The hotel is a modern purpose-built business hotel, situated about five miles from Paisley town centre, and about four miles from Glasgow International Airport, and about five miles from Glasgow city centre. The hotel is 10 minutes by taxi (£5-£8) from both Paisley town centre and from Glasgow city centre.

A discounted conference room rate of £64 per person per night including breakfast has been agreed with the Purple Hotel. To book accomodation at the Purple Hotel, please use the contact details below. Please quote "UNIVERSITY" when booking to ensure you are given the agreed rate.

The conference registration desk will operate in the Purple Hotel on Wednesday 7th May from mid afternoon until midnight. Throughout the conference, busses will run from the Purple Hotel to the conference site. Alternatively taxis from the hotel to the conference site will cost £5-£8 each way.

Rooms for the conference cannot be booked using the hotel internet booking system. (A block booking has been made by the conference organizers and so the internet booking system has been disabled in order to prevent non-delegates from booking the rooms.)

For the duration of the conference a bus service will be provided between the Purple Hotel and the conference site at the UWS paisley Campus.
