Presentations & Workshops
The Schools Liaison and College Liaison Teams would welcome the opportunity to visit you at your school, college or careers office.
We regularly visit schools and colleges to deliver presentations and workshops on a wide variety of current higher education topics. We are available to speak to groups of potential students, their families and to you, as their advisors.
We are fully trained to speak about a range of issues and can even tailor-make a presentation programme relevant to your needs. We can incorporate the following topics into a presentation or workshop:
- Higher education in Scotland
- University courses and developments
- Student life
- Transition from school to university
- UCAS and how to apply
- Pre-application points to consider (e.g. financial considerations*)

- Preferred dates and times (please provide at least two potential dates/times)
- Your name, job title, telephone number and email address (if available)
- Your school, college or careers organisation contact address
- Brief description of topics to be covered, format (workshop or presentation, duration) and the intended audience (including an indication of group size)
* For a detailed presentation or workshop relating to funding, student support and financial considerations relating to higher education we would strongly advise that you contact the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
