University of the West of Scotland

H1N1 Swine Flu

Register with a local doctor

If you are new to the University and have not already registered with a General Practitioner in a GP practice you should do so now. You should be registered with practice near to where you are living or near to the University campus where you are studying.

If you have symptoms of H1N1 Flu, your GP practice would be the first place to contact for advice. You should not wait until you are unwell before attempting to register with a GP practice.

In addition to receiving diagnosis and treatment for H1N1 Flu, you can access a variety of services through a GP practice. These include prevention of illness, family planning, contraception, immunisation and travel health advice.

If you are ill and cannot wait until your GP surgery re-opens call NHS 24 Tel: 08454 242424 www.nhs24.com
