BSc Health Studies

The BSc in Health Studies is a new programme which commenced in September 2010 and replaced the two post-registration degree programmes: BSc Nursing Studies and BSc Interprofessional Studies.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN PALLIATIVE CARE

This course consists of 3 modules, applicants should ideally hold a degree. Alternatively, if you do not have a degree could you please supply two references (one clinical, one academic). The references must be completed in black ink or type, signed by the referee on institution or company headed paper. If possible the references should cover the following points:

1. Suitability for the programme applied for.
2. Previous and potential academic performance (including English language proficiency, if applicable).
3. Character and personality (stability, perseverance, etc).
4. Career aspirations.
5. Health and other circumstances relevant to the application.

We require to see the ORIGINAL COPY of your degree certificate. Please send this or the references with your application form.

Note: if a different surname appears on your certificate we will also need a COPY of the relevant certificate confirming change of surname, eg marriage certificate.

MSc Nursing Studies

The programme aims to develop the experienced nursing practitioner to take on the challenges of decision making, autonomous practice and leadership which are necessary for contemporary advancing nursing practice. MSc Nursing Studies programme details (pdf)
