Mental Health Nursing Research Conference 20 April 2012

Universities and research networks across Scotland have come together to develop the first national research conference for mental health nurses in Scotland. We hope this will be the first in a long line of national annual celebrations of mental health nurse research.
The inaugural Scottish Mental Health Nursing Conference will take place at UWS’s new Ayr Campus on the banks of the River Doon in Ayr.
UWS Conference - Reducing Harm, Improving Healthcare: Making a Difference

1 in 10 patients admitted to Scottish NHS hospitals will be unintentionally harmed and around 50% of these events could have been avoided if lessons from previous incidents had been learned. A conference will take place on Friday 11th November 2011 at Hamilton Campus.
