Post-registration course contacts
The School offers post-registered professional and vocational healthcare courses which are designed to meet the specific further education needs of all registered healthcare professionals.
The courses not only serve the needs of the local NHS Boards and Community Health Partnerships, they are also used by private sector healthcare organisations, hospices, local statutory and voluntary organisations and local authorities.
There are a range of credit bearing post-registration courses and we can also offer a range of credit and non-credit bearing short courses.
Our short courses can be delivered on-site at the University; usually at the campus of your choice; or can be delivered on an outreach basis. Topics that can be covered include for example: Pain Management, Moving and Handling, Palliative Care, a variety of topics related to Nurse Management and a variety of topics related to Older People's Nursing and Dementia Care. Requests for short courses, tailor made to suit your needs are welcomed. Requests should be directed to Professor John Atkinson, whose details are given on the right.
