Welcome to the Human Resources Department
The University of the West of Scotland employs c. 2000 staff over four campuses – Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley.
The work of the Human Resources Department is aligned with aims and objectives of the UWS Strategic Plan 2008-2015 and supports the University’s aim to create an environment for staff which makes them feel engaged, challenged, supported and proud of the University.
The website has been designed to provide relevant information and guidance for staff, managers and prospective employees on a range of matters related to employment with the University in support of the Department’s aim of providing a professional HR service.
