You are given £5.00 free Print Credit per Trimester.
Additional credit can be purchased from the print credit machines in Paisley campus and Ayr campus. (If the print credit machine is out of order, go to Finance cash office, pay for the amount of print credit you want, and bring your receipt to J block 3rd level in Paisley or C116 in Ayr to get amount credited to your account.)
You can check at any time how much credit you have by hovering the mouse over the £ sign in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (near the clock).
When you print a document, a pop-up screen will tell you how much credit you have and asks if you wish to continue. If you click on Cancel, the document will not be printed. Only by clicking on Print will you be charged 5p/40p per page.
Refunds for Print Credit are only given if there has been a problem with the printer.
Cost for Black & White - 5p per sheet.
Cost for colour - 40p per sheet.
Printing at Hamilton
You are given £5.00 free Print Credit per Trimester.
Printing is charged at 5p per page.

If your print credit is used up, please go to the IT Dept – (Almada 212) in Hamilton campus, or the Library front desk in Dumfries campus.
Credit can be bought in multiples of £5. You must take along your student card.
If you dispute the quantity or quality of your printing, please go to Almada 212 or the Library front desk in Dumfries, taking along the pages you believe you should not have been charged for. A record is kept of all documents printed (when they were printed and number of sheets printed).
Printing at Dumfries
At the start of each academic year, each student is allocated £5 of print credit.
Printing is charged at 5p per page.
Every student has access to printing facilities with each computer lab having a networked printer (black and white).
To increase your print credit go to the library and request to have more money added to your account in a denominator of £5 or £10.
