Part Time Study
The University provides a diverse range of part-time study options across its campuses which are designed to help you build on your existing skills and qualifications, or enable you to take your first steps to achieving a University award.
The University's Lifelong Learning team can help you plan your study options and assess any existing credit, based on prior qualifications and/or professional experience.
By successfully completing modules, you can build your academic credit towards a number of possible qualifications or you can choose modules that plug a particular skill gap you have identified, without the requirement of completing a formal qualification. Many people use this later option in order to meet Continuing Professional Development requirements identified through their profession. For the most up-to-date listing of available modules and qualifications refer to the appropriate in Study Options section.
The flexibility of our part-time study routes means that you can combine studies with work or family commitments to meet career goals and interests. And because the programmes are offered in the evening you can give your career a real boost without taking a career break.
