P&MIS comprises 14 staff and is run by the Director of P&MIS, Carolyn Davidson. It is located in the Barbour Building of the University on the High Street, Paisley Campus. The department also has a regular presence on the Ayr, Dumfries and Hamilton Campuses.
Our role is to support and inform academic and strategic planning and development. We do this by evaluating policy and analysing and integrating data with relevant contextual information to provide insights and identify trends which enable UWS to take informed decisions.The skills within the team include:
- Qualitative and Quantitative Anslysis
- Project Management
- Policy Analysis
- Environmental Scanning
- Make explicit the links between strategy, policy and practice
- Generate evidence to inform decisions
- Monitor strategic targets and measure success
- Provide an institutional review.
