Aims

The aim of the Institute is to produce internationally recognized applied social science research that contributes to policy and practice in a range of topics that relate to the theme of  "social and health well-being".

Research within the University

The University is committed to research, and research activity is encouraged across a wide range of disciplines. The University's Innovation and Research Office aims to strengthen and proactively facilitate relationships with industry and to support colleagues in developing research and commercialisation projects.

The Institute brings together the research strengths within the School of Social Sciences.

The School's diverse research base includes a Chair in Public Health and key research areas include:
