In addition to his role at UWS Craig is Consultant Microbiologist at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow and Lead Infection Control Doctor for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

  • Qualifications

    Craig graduated in medicine from Liverpool University, trained in General Medicine in Liverpool leading to admission to the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) and undertook training in Medical Microbiology in Liverpool, Birmingham and Glasgow, leading to admission to the Royal College of Pathologists. While in Glasgow he undertook research into Helicobacter pylori, leading to an MD.

  • Research Interests

    His research interests include the role of the environment and patient care pathways in the acquisition of infection, fungal biofilms and infections in immunocompromised patients and patients with cystic fibrosis.
