Buddy Project

To help new students settle in to student life and study, the University is running a Buddy Project.  The project aims to offer informal, friendly support by current students to all new students.

As a new student you will be given the opportunity to meet up with another student who has been studying similar subjects to you with us for a year or two.  They will be able to answer some of the questions you have about student life.  If they don’t know the answer to a question, they will be able to point you in the right place to find help. Your Student Buddy can also help you find your way around the Campus until you feel confident about where you are and where you have to go.

New students will meet with their Buddies during their first weeks at University and this can be followed by up by further meetings each semester, these can be on an individual or group basis or if you wish contact can be maintained by e-mail. If you would like to be matched with a Buddy then please complete and return the application form.

If you would like more information about the project before taking part, please use the contact details below.
