The 2017-18 session once again marked a truly remarkable period for UWS. We openned our fabulous new Lanarkshire Campus, had great success in overall student satisfaction levels in the National Student Survey 2018, saw our second inclusion in the Times Higher Education’s (THE) Young University Rankings rise into the top 150 universities under 50 in their global rating and in THE’s World University Rankings for this period were placed in the top 600. 2017-18 also saw us identified as Scotland's only and first official training provider for China from the Chinese State Administration for Foreign Expert Affairs.
