The
is based in the on the Paisley Campus and provides services to all staff and students.We develop the University’s Health and Safety Policy and monitor all aspects of Health and Safety; having oversight of health and safety management across all campuses and properties of the University, including UWS residential accommodation and off-site business related activities of Schools and Departments, such as fieldwork, work based learning placements and business travel.
Visitor information and resources
The information and leaflets below will provide you with essential information regarding your health and safety as a visitor of the University of the West of Scotland, including the University's Fire Procedures, how to get First Aid, how to report an accident or incident, details of the University's Smoking Policy and evacuation procedures for the physically disabled.
Those who are physically disabled should disclose this to the Disability Services who will refer them to Resilience and Safety to allow a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan to be agreed.
