Alex Gubbay brings over 20 years' digital transformation experience with large global media businesses, including The Walt Disney Company & the BBC. He is currently working abroad in the United Arab Emirates, as Head of Digital Strategy for English-language media outlet The National.
His previous roles include Product Director at Condé Nast, Director of Digital Product & Design for EMEA at Disney, and Director, Digital Product & Operations at Johnston Press. Before that, he was the first Social Media Editor for BBC News, and during 12 years at the BBC also held several digital leadership roles for BBC Sport.
