PG Research Experience Survey
What is the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)?
The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is run by the Higher Education Academy, and is open to all HEIs in the UK that have postgraduate research students. The PRES is the only national survey that collects feedback on the views and experience of postgraduate research students from across the UK. The survey offers you the opportunity to provide UWS with anonymous feedback relating to your research experience in UWS and, in doing so, provides us with information through which we can enhance our postgraduate research degree provision.
How do I take part?
The PRES runs from February to May each year.
The PRES takes the form of an anonymous online questionnaire that UWS postgraduate research course students are asked to complete. Eligible students are emailed with the link when the survey opens, however this can also be accessed by clicking below during the survey period.
Your login or username is your Banner ID (eg B00023435) and password is your date of birth in six number format without spaces or punctuation (eg 091284 if you were born on 9 December 1984).
What questions are asked?
Questions in the survey relate to the following aspects of your learning and teaching experience:
- Quality of Learning and Teaching
- Assessment and Feedback
- Organisation and Management
- Learning Resources
- Skills and Personal Development
- Career and Professional Development
- Overall Satisfaction
