PG Taught Experience Survey
What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?
PTES gathers the teaching and learning experiences and opinions of taught postgraduate students at UWS. The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is run in-house with support from the Higher Education Academy.
Results are anonymous, allowing comparison against sector benchmarks and previous years' survey results. Results are used for internal enhancement rather than the creation of league tables.
How do I take part?
PTES runs from February until June each year.
PTES takes the form of an anonymous online questionnaire that UWS postgraduate taught course students are asked to complete. Eligible students are emailed with the link when the survey opens, however this can also be accessed by clicking below during the survey period.
Your login or username is your Banner ID (eg B00023435) and password is your date of birth in six number format without spaces or punctuation (eg 091284 if you were born on 9 December 1984).
What questions are asked?
Questions in the survey relate to the following aspects of your learning and teaching experience:
- Quality of Learning and Teaching
- Assessment and Feedback
- Organisation and Management
- Learning Resources
- Skills and Personal Development
- Career and Professional Development
- Overall Satisfaction
