About
Futsal at UWS is one of our newer opportunities, with both men’s and women’s teams starting their development in 2016/17, and with 2017/18 being their first full competitive seasons.
Since then, both squads have gone from strength to strength, with the team regularly finishing in the top end of the BUCS Tier 1 table, the top division in Scotland.
The teams compete in the BUCS Futsal Leagues. It consists of centralised fixtures spread out throughout the year, which include teams from institutions around the country. Joining Team UWS Futsal is a great opportunity to get involved with one of the country’s most quickly developing sports.

Competitions
Our Men's and Women's squads compete in the BUCS Futsal Scottish central venue league, with league match days spread out across the season, playing 2 fixtures per league match day.

Sign up for Futsal and head down to your first training session! All team members will be required to purchase a Team UWS membership that you can buy in the Online Store.
