The University’s School of Health & Life Sciences are hosting ‘Stunning Science @ UWS’ in June for local school pupils, giving them an insight into how scientific research impacts and influences people’s daily lives.

The event, which is free to attend, is delivered by UWS as part of the Glasgow Science Festival and takes place at Paisley Campus on Thursday 6th June between 4 and 7pm.

The event will see participants carry out experiments with enthusiastic researchers and find out how science makes a difference in the world in forensics, health, sport and much more.

You will be able to see marine creatures; find out about misbehaving bones; make your own fingerprint keyring; create an artifical lung; take a scientific look at bubbles, slime and dry ice; fit organs; and a host of other exciting things.

You can register for the event using the Sign-up now! link above and below or simply drop in on the day.
