Pro Rata Charges
If you are considering withdrawing from your course, you should be aware that this may have implications on your funding and you may be liable for financial charges.
The Finance Office can advise on each individual case and it is recommended that you speak to us before you reach your final decision to withdraw.
SAAS funded full-time students
If you are being sponsored by SAAS and you withdraw from your course prior to the 1 December, the funding for your course will no longer be applicable. Therefore, you will be treated as a 'self-financing' student and become liable for any pro-rata charges for the period you have attended.
For details of the pro-rata charges you may be liable for, please contact the Finance Office at ar@uws.ac.uk
Self-financing students, including International
If you are a self-financing student and withdraw from your course, you will be charged pro-rata for your attendance at the University. This charge is due on receipt of your amended invoice/credit note. If the charge exceeds the amount you have already paid to the University, you will be refunded the difference.
For details of the pro-rata charges you may be liable for, please contact the Finance Office at ar@uws.ac.uk
Part-time students
