If you are considering withdrawing from your course, you should be aware that this may have implications on your funding and you may be liable for financial charges.
The Finance Office can advise on each individual case and it is recommended that you speak to us before you reach your final decision to withdraw.
SAAS funded students
If you are being sponsored by SAAS and you withdraw from your course prior to the 1 December, the funding for your course will no longer be applicable. Therefore, you will be treated as a 'self-financing' student and become liable for any pro-rata charges for the period you have attended.
For details of the pro-rata charges you may be liable for, please contact the Finance Office: email@example.com.
If you are a self-financing student and withdraw from your course, you will be charged pro-rata for your attendance at the University. This charge is due on receipt of your amended invoice/credit note. If the charge exceeds the amount you have already paid to the University, you will be refunded the difference.
International students should refer to the pro-rata information dedicated to international students for our current withdrawal charges. These charges are detailed in the pro-rata charges document.
Part-time students should contact the Finance Office for personalised advice on the withdrawal charges they may have to pay.
