Non-Standard Tuition Fees

Non-medical Prescribing Modules

Two modules are offered by the School of Health & Life Sciences relating to Non-medical prescribing. These differ depending upon your level of study and the programme of study that you are completing. One module is offered at master's level (SCQF Level 11) and the other at undergraduate level (SCQF Level 9):

  • Non-medical prescribing (SCQF Level 11 - 30 Credits) - £1100
  • Non-medical prescribing (SCQF Level 9 - 30 Credits) - £750

English Language Courses

PRE-SESSIONAL ENGLISH (10 WEEKS' DURATION - LONDON CAMPUS)

  • Scottish - £500
  • RUK / RoI - £500
  • International (including EU) - £3200


PRE-SESSIONAL ENGLISH (5 WEEKS' DURATION)

  • Scottish - £500
  • RUK / RoI - £500
  • International (including EU) - £1855


ENGLISH LANGUAGE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDY (ELUS) - PAISLEY CAMPUS

  • 27 weeks' duration - £5020
  • 41 weeks' duration - £7300

Master's Dissertation

Completion of the 60-credit master's dissertation can incur an additional charge as follows:

  • Scottish students - £930
  • International (including EU) students - £2100

Research Degrees

Costs below are presented as per year of study for our MPhil, PhD and DProf degrees:

  • Scottish - £4410 full-time (£2205 part-time)
  • RUK/RoI* - £4410 full-time (£2205 part-time)
  • International (including EU) - £13,325 full-time

Computing, Engineering, Health, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences

  • International (including EU) - £16,400 full-time

Extension to Study - £550

Completion Fee - £550

Professional Doctorate (DProf)

  • Scottish - £3250 part-time
  • RUK/RoI* - £3250 part-time
  • International (including EU) - £6660 part-time

Tuition Fee Payment Plans

In some cases, students who are self-financing, i.e. paying their own tuition, can do this through a payment plan, rather than paying in one lump sum.

Additional costs

Tuition Fees will cover the cost of teaching on your chosen course.

Depending on your chosen course, you may need to pay additional costs for things such as field trips, specialist equipment, books, uniforms, membership fees, placement expenses etc.
