UWS is proud to welcome students from around the world to our campuses, including the international cohort of MSc Nursing students who graduated recently.

The January 2021 cohort of students, mostly from Nepal, Ghana, Nigeria and India received their awards at Paisley Abbey, with the group of 25 students receiving a range of MSc Nursing, postgraduate diploma and certificates.

Programme leader Cate O’Kane said: “They all plan to stay in the country and are currently applying for or have successfully got NMC professional registration and working as registered nurse in the UK.

And we’re already looking forward to celebrating the next graduation of MSc Nursing students from around the world. Cate said: “My current cohort, the January 2022 cohort will hopefully graduate in November 2023, and I have 18 students currently on that programme.”
