Business & enterprise Research Excellence
UWS School of Business and Enterprise has a thriving research community based on 100 staff and over 50 research students. The School is well networked internationally with collaborative projects across Europe.
International conferences, workshops and seminars are organised every year attracting participants from across the world.
As a Business School we accommodate a broad range of subjects, interests and disciplines and welcome a wide spectrum of approaches, methods and ideas. The School has earned a respected reputation, nationally and internationally, for its research and consultancy, as well as learning and teaching, and attracts students from more than 40 countries worldwide.
Some of the renowned companies we work with include Rolls Royce, Astra Zeneca, Hoover Candy and Doosan Babcock.
The majority of staff in the business and enterprise area are research active and all devote at least one fifth of their time to research and scholarly activity.
In addition, we have developed core activity in internationally recognised business-related research, which underpins curriculum development, teaching and learning, and staff development.
