The Certificate HE Digital Learning Design is aimed primarily at working professionals who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of digital learning design. It will enable you to develop an understanding of learning technologies and their application to effective learning, as well as acquire and critically apply knowledge and skills in digital learning development and implementation.
The course is primarily targeted at working professionals in learning and development roles who have a recognised professional qualification for their sector (e.g. Social Work, Social Service, Health, or Education) and experience in delivering learning. The programme addresses a specific skills gap identified by our partners in Health, Social Care, and Education, and has endorsement from industry partners in these sectors.
The course is delivered entirely online and the content is agnostic and applicable to any professional who has a requirement to create online content for learning. The activities and assessments will focus on the application of learning in the workplace and will draw on learners' work experience and practices.
We welcome Scottish, UK and international students and consider all applicants on an individual basis.
Don’t worry if your qualifications are not listed here, we take a range of factors into account when assessing your application and are happy to consider other alternative combinations of qualifications and experience.
If you are applying with an EU or non-EU qualification, please check our Undergraduate Entry Requirements page which gives more information about country-specific entry requirements.
