UWS launches Global Refugee Health Network
Together with the University of Edinburgh, UWS is leading the Global Refugee Health Research Network (GRHRN).
GRHRN is led by Dr George Palattiyil from University of Edinburgh School of Social and Political Science (SSPS) and Dr Dina Sidhva from UWS School of Education & Social Sciences and Associate of the Global Health Academy at University of Edinburgh.
The GRHRN is a response to the need to address the health needs of refugees. The project aims to establish a framework for placing health as a human right in the migration–development debate.
Partners will be able to access resources and share insights in responding to the health needs of refugees. This will help shape new policy and practice.
