UWS graduate contributes to Argyll-inspired album

Broadcast Production graduate Alana-Kathryn Mathers, has recently been involved in a project called 'MusicMakesMe', which has brought musicians from Argyll together to create an album of original works.

The Festival of Enterprise will take place on the Paisley Campus Monday 23rd-Tuesday 24th May, 8.30am-6pm.

  • UWS was top in the UK for student satisfaction in a range of subjects in the National Student Survey 2015.

    Student satisfaction in Education, Childhood Studies, Civil Engineering, Computer-aided Design, Contemporary Screen Acting and Integrated Public Service was 100%. Other courses which were rated in the top 5 in the UK for student satisfaction were: Aircraft Engineering (top in Scotland and 5th in UK); Commercial Music, Commercial Sound Production, Music Technology (all 4th in UK); Filmmaking and Screen-writing (3rd in UK).

  • UWS Research Studentships 2016

    UWS Funded Studentships are now available for application; the next start date for funded studentships is the 1st October 2016. Check the school listings in the Graduate School section of the website for a full list of studentships available this year. Please note the closing date for applications for all Studentships (bar one) is 15 May 2016.

    To be eligible for all UWS funded studentships you must be a Home/EU student. Non-EU students can apply, but will not receive the stipend and will be required to pay fees.
