Dumfries Campus

  • Unique in Scotland, Regional & Joint Campus

Located just two miles from the centre of Dumfries, this University of the West of Scotland campus has a beautiful setting in 80 acres of parkland and woods and overlooks the River Nith and the Galloway Hills. The Dumfries Campus is unique in Scotland as it is the only campus which is shared by two universities and one college (University of the West of Scotland, University of Glasgow, and Dumfries and Galloway College). This unique regional approach means that students have access to state-of-the-art learning facilities across five distinctive buildings co-located on the campus.

Students on the campus have easy access to all facilities and the staff: student ratio means class sizes are small. The campus is easily accessible by foot, car or bus from the town centre. With a population of 38,000, Dumfries is big enough to enjoy city-like facilities, yet remains small enough to retain a friendly ambience.

Dumfries Campus Information Sessions for 2015 entry will be on Wed 14 Jan, Wed 13 May, Wed 5 Aug and Wed 9 Sept, all 4-7pm at Dudgeon House, Dumfries Campus
