    Membership of the Association is automatic when you graduate with a recognised qualification from the University of the West of Scotland or from any of the following former institutions before the merger took place:-

    • University of Paisley
    • Craigie College of Education, Ayr (merged with University of Paisley in 1993)
    • Bell College of Technology
    • Bell College

  • UWS Research Studentships 2016

    UWS Funded Studentships are now available for application; the next start date for funded studentships is the 1st October 2016. Check the UWS lisiting on the Find-a-PhD website for a full list of Studentships available this year. Please note the closing date for applications for all Studentships (bar one) is 15 May 2016. The following studentship application deadline is 29 April 2016:

    To be eligible for all UWS funded studentships you must be a Home/EU student. Non-EU students can apply, but will not receive the stipend and will be required to pay fees.
