Alumni Home
Welcome to the UWS Alumni Association which aims to foster and promote lifelong links between the University, our graduates and the wider alumni-community.
This Alumni Association website is one of the ways we intend to keep you informed of developments at the University and it also provides information on how you can keep in touch with us.
Background to UWS
University of the West of Scotland was established on 1st of August 2007, when a merger took place between University of Paisley and Bell College. The merger created a new regional University with four campuses in the West of Scotland – in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley. The University currently has around 20,000 students and around 2,000 staff.
The Alumni Association has been launched at an exciting time in the development of the University with around £250m investment in facilities and infrastructure across all four campuses planned, as well as continuing development of our course portfolio.
