    Information on these pages relates to students wishing to study at UWS starting in September 2017. Our website will be updated with full course information for September 2018 entry following Clearing in September.

  • We offer a wide range of career-focused Bachelor degrees (BA, BAcc, BEng, BSc) which have been designed to ensure that you are able to meet the demands of your chosen profession. Many courses include opportunities for hands-on practical experience in business, industry or the professions, as well as study abroad options to boost your skills, experience and development and many are professionally recognised. You can even choose to study a language as part of your undergraduate studies, and use this to enhance your prospects in the job market.

      UWS was rated as top in the UK for a number of undergraduate degree courses in terms of Overall Student Satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016. 

      The following undergraduate courses were rated at 100%:

      In addition, our Chemical Engineering course was rated top in Scotland and 3rd in the UK, and our Education, Psychology and our Drama-related courses were rated top in Scotland. 

      Other highly rated UWS courses were: Politics (which was rated 2nd in Scotland); Applied Biosciences; Chemistry; Civil Engineering, and Occupational Safety & Health

      The results of the NSS 2016 (87.1% Overall Satisfaction) places UWS 48th out of 119 UK HE institutions for student satisfaction which is a significant rise of 16 places from the previous year.
